We have a beautiful site for practicing and hosting. We are scheduling a coed, community Sweat Lodge roughly the Saturday closest to every full moon. We are also organizing vision ritual and related activities and need volunteers. Beginners welcome! Come share, learn and practice with us!
We welcome you to join us. The gardens are developing and coming along in a good way. We have a great variety of plants and flowers including many medicinal varieties.
Please pass the word on...
Please note that all of our sweats are co-ed and we seek to keep a balanced energy between the mother and the father, the male and female. Our sweats emphasize the goddess aspect of shamanic process. To this end we do not allow unattended single men to attend without a female friend or partner. Single females are always welcome. If you are a single male wishing to attend you will need to ask spirit to show you the communication and interpersonal skills and support you need to manifest someone to accompany you to ceremony. You will need to find a supportive fellow female participant to join you in attending the sweat.
Please note! Our Shamanic Sweat and lodge is not a "Native American" lodge. Although we were duly apprenticed and given instruction and permission by recognized tribal elders.. our lodge is not tribal and has no tribal affiliation or representation specifically. Our practice is eclectic and is representative of the many traditions we share as a group and in some aspects reflects sweat traditions from other countries and peoples such as India and Thailand. We respect and will do nothing to offend our native brothers and sisters of specific tribes and traditions.
The Thai Yoga Center and land are available for club meetings and functions at very reasonable rates. Call for details.
Note: Please do not RSVP "NO" unless your changing and or updating a previous "YES" RSVP!
