Hello and kahey to all! March’s full moon comes one day after the 2008 March equinox.

We have received so many request to adjust the schedule to Saturday the 14th to make is easier to get more people involved we have agreed to do so. Please make a note and adjust your schedule to the 14th. All the rules for attendance are still in effect. Thanks for all the participation and feedback! Aho!

The March equinox signals the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere, and autumn in the southern hemisphere. This full moon gives people in the northern hemisphere their first full moon of spring. And south of the equator, this is the first full moon of autumn.

In North American sky lore, the March full moon is often called the Full Sap Moon or the Full Crow Moon. In the southern hemisphere, where it’s now autumn, tonight’s full moon is the legendary full Harvest Moon, closest full moon to that hemisphere’s autumn equinox.

We are planning a special class at this time from 1 to 3 pm. with a Shaman in the Peruvian Abuelita tradition. She will be conducting a special sharing and training originating in the Ayuhuasca tradition for the first time in North America! This free class will be followed by preparation and conducting of the purification and vision lodge.
